A Christmas message from Bishop Jarrell

In our modern age, when events across the globe are communicated instantly, we are often saddened by things which bring great suffering to people. Acts of nature sometimes cause great suffering, but human cruelty is much harder to accept. On the first Christmas night, the angel proclaimed, “Peace on Earth.” Perhaps he did not mean always and everywhere. Even in our lives, there are times of discord and time of peace. What is certain is that Jesus, Son of God, is the Prince of Peace. May he grant to all of us the peace which he alone can give.
