Community helped with cemetery improvement project near Turkey Creek

Doris coordinated a project to spruce up the cemetery, including the entranceway. She contacted Pine Prairie Energy, which sent a crew that sandblasted and applied a priming coat of paint on the entranceway. She also enlisted Evangeline Parish Police Jury member Lamar Johnson, who arranged to have a crew erect the entranceway. Other companies and individuals helped with the project, but asked to remain anonymous.
