Daffodils and tulip bulbs offered free by City of Ville Platte

The City of Ville Platte will be distributing free daffodil and tulip bulbs to Ville Platte residents, schools and businesses Friday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Any local resident or organization who would like to receive these beautiful flowering bulbs for planting in this community should visit Ville Platte City Hall during those hours.
Bulbs will be distributed in lots of 20 daffodils and 10 tulips. They will be given on a first-come, first-served basis until the supply has run out. Visit early, because once they’re gone, late visitors may be left without bulbs for planting.
These bulbs were made available by the National Bulb Distribution through the Louisiana Department of Transportation.
