DeSelle added to state child predator registry with VP address
Phillip DeSelle, who was released from prison Thursday, January 22, after serving 24 years for the murder of 11-year-old Averie Grace Evans in Natchitoches, has now been added to the Louisiana Child Predator Registry.
According to Pam LaBorde with the Louisiana Department of Corrections, DeSelle will be monitored using GPS and will be unable to leave Evangeline Parish without the approval of his parole officer. He also must comply with a 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and sex offender counseling.
While initial reports indicated DeSelle would be living in Turkey Creek, he has been added to the registry with the address 1330 Feaster Road, which is off of Highway 167 North, just south of Bayou Chicot and approximately five miles north of Ville Platte.
