The members of the East Side Water System headed back to the polls Monday to elect the remainder of the board of directors.
Elected to the board were Warren LaFleur and Warren Vidrine. The tandem was the top two vote getters beating out Pat Soileau and Charles “Seldon” Fontenot.
The election was run by Evangeline Parish Registrar of Voters Lucas Buller. Raymond and Tina Guillory were election commissioners.
Previously elected to the board at the April Election were Randel Brown and Lee Ray Johnson. John Vidrine was reelected for another term. The new board members replace Todd Deville, Pat Soileau, Steve Vidrine, Gerald Fontenot, Charles Fontenot, and Neal Ardoin.
At the board’s first meeting on Wednesday night, it elected officers for the upcoming year. Officers for the East Side Water System are President Randel Brown, Vice President Warren LaFleur, and Secretary-Treasuer John Vidrine.
