The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 14 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Ashley R. Edwards, 29, 1041 King Boulevard, Ville Platte, was arrested on July 16, 2016 for disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. Edwards’s bond was set at $5,000.00.
• Berniel Lafleur, Jr., 40, 186 Rue Richaume Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 16, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Lafleur was released form jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Theresa E. Giancaspro, 41, 186 Rue Richaume Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 16, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Giancaspro was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Travis P. Dupree, 38, 1106 Fifth St., Pine Prairie, was arrested o July 17, 2016 for domestic abuse abttery. Dupree’s bond was set at $5,000.00.
• John G. Patin, 50, 613 Reed St., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 17, 2016 for possession of schedule IV controlled dangerous stubstance (CDS) and disturbing the peace. Patin’s bond was set at $9,000.00.
• Jody P. Clark, 19, 1156 Lake Cove Rd., Turkey Creek, was arrested on driving while intoxicated (DWI) (first offens) and careless operation. Clark was released from jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Jessica L. Vidrine, 33, 1565 Warren Camp Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 18, 2016 for failure to appear, driving without headlights after dark, and driving under suspension. Vidrine was released from jail on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Arthur E. Flanders IV, 2014 B. Stagg Ave, Basile, was arrested on July 18, 2016 for domestic abuse battery and cyberstalking. Flanders’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Ryan J. Bertrand, 21, 711 N. Soileau St., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 18, 2016 for possession of a schedule I CDS (marijuana) with intent. Bertrand’s bond was set at $7,500.00.
• Mario S. Wilson, 26, 128 East Pine St., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 19, 2016 for possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and takin gof contraband to/from a penal institution. Wilson’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Lindale J. Chaney, 32, 127 Megory Lane, Ponchatoula, was arrested on July 20, 2016 for possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabis and taking contraband to/from penal institution. Chaney’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Sandra K. Rich, 46, 202 Belaire Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on July 20, 2016 for issuing worthless checks. Rich was released from jail on a $4,840.00.
• Billy T. Elliott, 38, 217 St. Mark Drive, West Colombia, South Carolina, was arrested on July 20, 2016 for careless operation and domestic abuse battery. Elliott’s bond was set at $12,500.00.
• Riber J. Gaspard III, 24, 1209 St. Peter St., Mamou, was arrested on July 21, 2016 for carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
