Local couple honored for philanthropy

Evangeline Parish residents Kermit and Sheila Miller are being honored for their philanthropy.
The Millers will be honored at the Community Foundation of Acadiana’s (CFA) fifth-annual Leaders in Phila-nthropy Awards Luncheon held on Tuesday, November 3, at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette.
The 2015 Leaders in Philan-thropy Awards will be presented to the following individuals, couples and corporations: In addition to the Millers, Charlotte and Joe Freeland (Acadia Parish, Johnny and Cathy Indest (Iberia Parish), Paul Hilliard (Lafayette Parish), Pat and Alice Morrow (St. Landry Parish), David Buck (St. Martin Parish), Sylvia and Fulton C. “Butch” Felterman, Jr. (St. Mary Parish), Paul Patout and Patrick Patout (Vermilion Parish) will also be honored.
