Mamou Rotary Club hands out two scholarships

For the past 57 years, the Mamou Rotary Club has been presenting scholarships to two deserving students to help them enroll and help pay expenses for the first year of college. Thus far, the Mamou Rotary Club has made it possible for 104 high school graduates to enroll in the college of their choice.
The two recipients of this scholarship in this 2015 graduating class are Stephen LaCaze, son of Stephen LaCaze and Celeste LaCaze, and Amelia Marie Lafleur, daughter of Tammy Lafleur and the late Keith Perrodin. LaCaze will enroll at the University of Louisiana Lafayette to major in engineering. Lafleur will enroll at Louisiana State University Eunice to major in education. Both recipients received a $1,000 scholarship.
