Pine Prairie holds its first Toys for Tots drive

Pine Prairie held its first Toys for Tots drive this year, with help from the Mamou Police Department, who conducted the Toys for Tots drive in their community.
Dana Galvan, who coordinated the Pine Prairie drive, said 86 children in 35 families received toys, which were distributed the afternoon of Thursday, December 19.
Toys for Tots donation boxes were placed in several locations in the community. Galvan thanked all those who donated, as well as Pine Prairie’s mayor and town council for their support.
