Police arrest trio in narcotics bust, capture man wanted in Texas

On October 31, the Ville Platte Police Department responded to a report of illegal drug activity in the 200 block of West Main Street.
Officers responded and witnessed a drug transaction in progress. After further investigation, the officers located over 300 different pills inside a vehicle and arrested three suspects.
Hollie Lee, 37, 426 Sandy Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested and booked into the Ville Platte City Jail on charges of 1 count of possession of Schedule I, 18 counts of possession of Schedule II, Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and distribution of Schedule II. Lee was released on a $15,000 bond issued by Judge John Larry Vidrine.
Jordan Seraille, 28, 426 Sandy Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested and booked into the Ville Platte City Jail on charges of one count of possession of Schedule I, 18 counts of possession of Schedule II, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and distribution of Schedule II. Seraille was released on a $15,000 bond issued by Judge Vidrine.
Kristy Fontenot, 28, 173 Rixby Manuel Road, Ville Platte, was arrested and booked into the Ville Platte City Jail on the charge of simple possession of Schedule II. Fontenot was released on a $5,000 bond issued by Judge Vidrine.
On November 4, officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Tate Cove Road and learned that a black male in a silver car left the scene headed out of town on Main Street. Detectives and Officers located the vehicle and attempted to make contact with the suspect. The vehicle turned off of Main Street and onto First Street in the East Side Subdivision where it came to a stop. While speaking with the suspect detectives recognized him as a fugitive from Texas. John Wayne Frank 32, 5827 Greencraig Street, Houston, Texas, was arrested without incident on an outstanding warrant and was transported to the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office to await extradition to Texas.
