The Pine Prairie Police Department under Chief L.C. Deshotel would like to warn business owners about the use of counterfeit money.
Chief Deshotel asked to make businesses aware of the fact that people are using fake bills after a counterfeit $100 bill was found at the Family Dollar in Pine Prairie recently.
At this time, the local police department has not been able to uncover who spent the fake money because according to the PPPD’s officer Ben Bordelon, “the cameras were down at the time the money was used.”
