Rosary to be held at Evangeline Parish Courthouse

Organizers of a “Rosary Crusade” are inviting the public to join them at the Evangeline Parish Courthouse in Ville Platte, and the St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou, on Saturday, October 12, for a rosary rally at noon in both locations. People attending the rally should bring their own lawn chairs. The major emphasis of the event this year is to pray for the nation. The event coincides with the appearance of Mary in Fatima in central Portugal in October 1917 reportedly to about 70,000 people.
