Truck donated to Mamou for use on streets

Mamou Mayor Ricky Fontenot, right, stands with Mila Le, daughter of Jimmy and Trisha Le, owners of the Mamou Superette, who donated this truck to the Town of Mamou on November 25. Mayor Fontenot said the truck was needed for use by the town’s street department. He also said the town could use another truck for the street department, and reminds the public that donations of a vehicle can earn the donor a tax write-off.
