Ville Platte man charged in home invasion
On March 10, officers responded to a report of a residential break in and discovered that a male suspect broke into a vehicle through the window and then broke a window on the residence and gained entry. The suspect then came face to face with the homeowner and fled the scene. Detectives collected evidence at the residence, which led to the arrest of Paul Wilson, 46, 211 East Jackson St., Ville Platte.
Wilson was arrested on April 13, on the charges of simple burglary, simple criminal damage to property and theft. Wilson is currently incarcerated on a $150,000 bond set by 13th Judicial District Judge Chuck West.
