VPPD Arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported five recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Keeveon Fontenot, 19, of 2425 1st Street, Ville Platte, was arrested on January 21, 2017 for disturbing the peace.
• Keeveon Fontenot, 19, of 2425 1st Street, Ville Platte, was arrested on January 21, 2017 for criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace and simple battery.
• Frank Franklin, 49, of 135 White Oak, Lake Charles, was arrested on January 21, 2017 for remaining after forbidden. Franklin’s bond was set at $1,000.
• Cassius Johnson, 29, of 810 N. Chataignier, was arrested on January 24, 2017 for simple battery. Johnson’s bond was set at $1,000 and he made bond.
• Jimmy Olivier Jr., 46, of 474 Murphy Gaudet, was arrested on January 26, 2017 for driving under suspension. Oliver’s bond was set at $1,000.
