Chief Neal Lartigue of the Ville Platte Police Departement issued a press release regarding reports of an arrest of a suspect on multiple charges from recent incident.
“On May 1, 2017, the Ville Platte Police Department received a report that a caregiver had been using the debit card of the elderly person she was sitting with,” the release stated. “The suspect missed multiple appointments and refused to meet with detectives which caused delays in the investigation.
