CROWLEY

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 for Lois Trahan Bertrand, 59, who died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at LSU Medical Center in Lafayette.

Burial will take place at Abshire Cemetery in rural Kaplan.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Bertrand of Crowley; two sons, Gannon and Caleb Bertrand, both of Crowley; one grandchild, Macyn Bertrand of Port Barre; five brothers, Lester Trahan of Georgia, and Holland, Earl, Linonel and Michael Trahan, all of Crowley; five sisters, Shirlene Sittig of Dequincy, Virginia Amy, Lena Palumbo and Theresa Stutes, all of Crowley; two step-brothers, James Ike Sarver and Gary Sarver, Jr.; and one step-sister, Cecilia Sarver, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lessar Trahan and Edith Mary Sarver; and one brother, Loveless Trahan.

Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements.
