Nathaniel Gallow charged with possession of crack

The Ville Platte Police Department charged a Ville Platte man with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine after conducting a joint investigation with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office into area narcotic activities.

Ville Platte Police Chief Neal Lartigue said Nathaniel Gallow, 39, 703 Parkview St., Apt. 93, Ville Platte, was arrested Thursday, March 20, after the department received information suggesting he may have been involved in illegal activities. A search warrant was executed at Gallow’s apartment, and officers recovered cocaine.

Gallow was released on a $15,000 bond.

Chief Lartigue reminded residents to report any illegal activities. He said all callers will remain anonymous.
