Bass fingerlings released at Crooked Creek Recreational Park
Members of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife (LDWF) and Fisheries’ biologist team were busy again this week stocking local lakes with bass fingerlings. Jody David, biologist district manager for LDWF, said approximately 4,000 fingerlings were added to Crooked Creek Tuesday, May 6, and approximately 32,000 to Miller’s Lake Thursday, May 8. Here are scenes from the stocking of Crooked Creek. LDWF biologists added 79,596 fingerlings to Chicot Park Thursday, April 24. Chicot Lake has been stocked since 1988, David said.
