Take me out to the ball game

The discourse at Tuesday’s City Council meeting between Mayor Bob Morris and Clifton Lemelle over use of a city ball field brings to mind a quote attributed to the late Yankees manager Casey Stengel:

“When you are younger you get blamed for crimes you never committed and when you’re older you begin to get credit for virtues you never possessed. It evens itself out.”
