Bengals fall to Pearl River

POPLARVILLE, Miss. - The clock struck midnight and the Bengals were still playing baseball in the Region 23 tournament.
But in the early morning hours Sunday, the Bengals dropped a 4-3 decision to host Pearl River.
LSUE will face Meridian Community College at 4 p.m. today and the winner will face Pearl River at 7 p.m. for the Region 23 championship and a berth in the NJCAA Division II baseball World Series.
