City-wide survey to focus on community improvement
The City of Ville Platte and the Southwest Center for Rural Initiatives have partnered together to conduct a city-wide survey. The purpose of the survey is to get input from local citizenry regarding thoughts and concerns on community improvement and development for the City of Ville Platte. Participation in this survey is critical in moving the city forward in a progressive manner.
The city-wide survey will be included in the month of June utility bill. Drop-off locations will be at city hall, library, Ville Platte Housing Authority, Chamber of Commerce and Village De Memoire I and II. An online option will also be available as well as direct mailing to the Southwest Center for Rural Initiatives at 232 S. Liberty Street, Opelousas, Louisiana 70570. The deadline for survey submission will be July 18, 2008.
