Heritage Manor News: Let the parties begin!

December is full of fun activities and very, very busy days. We have a lot of groups of children who plan to attend different functions and a lot of great organizations that help to support our needs at this time of the year. Wednesday, December 11, is the monthly VFW barbecue lunch, donated this month by the Woodman of the World. At 2 p.m. that day, the Knights of Columbus Christmas party with Gerald and Verna Fontenot will be held. We sincerely thank everyone for their time and donations. On Saturday, December 14, at 1:30 p.m. in the activity room, the VFW/Ladies Auxiliary Christmas party will be held. Music will be provided by DJ T-Rob Soileau. Many thanks to all and to Dr. and Mrs. LaHaye for their generous donation. Our big Christmas party will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, December 19, in the dining room. The dementia unit party will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 20, in the dementia unit dining room. Family and friends are invited to attend and are encouraged to call ahead to let us know how many people are coming for seating purposes.
The staff of Heritage Manor is proud to announce Herbert Jason as Employee of the Month and Earleen Fontenot as Resident of the Month. Danielle Pierce is the pride card winner for the month.
Other activities this month include Silver Eagle social outing, Girl Scouts visit, CCD children Christmas party, Sacred Heart Interact Club Christmas party and bingo game and Come Lord Jesus group party.
