Bernice “Nicky” Thibodeaux Guillory

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Bernice “Nicky” Thibodeaux Guillory, 87, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 31. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Cemetery.
A wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Ms. Guillory died Saturday, December 28, 2013, at the Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
Survivors include two sons, Lester J. Guillory Jr. and his wife, Sue, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Michael W. Guillory and his wife, Sherry, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two daughters, Denise Guillory Fuselier and Roxanne Guillory Smith and her husband, Ricky, all of Eunice; four brothers, Raymond Thibodeaux and his wife, Ruby, Junius Thibodeaux Jr. and his wife, Barbara, and Julius “Butch” Thibodeaux and his wife, Jane, all of Lydia, and Kennie Thibodeaux and his wife, Sharon, of Gloucester, Massachusetts; one sister, Priscilla Fondren of Lydia; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester J. Guillory Sr.; one daughter, Debbie Guillory; four sisters, Rosa Mae Prince, Bertha Walker, Frances Luent and Gwen Ardeneaux.
Father Alphonse Thainese officiated.
