BAYOU CHICOT - Funeral services were held for Monica Mary Deville, 86, of Pine Prairie, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie, at 1 p.m., Monday, January 6. Burial followed in the Addison Johnson Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.
A loving mother, sister and grandmother, Ms. Deville died Friday, January 3, 2014, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include three sons, Lloyd Deville and his wife, Pam, of Eunice, Robert Deville and his wife, Lisa, of Moss Bluff and John Deville and wife, Deneen, of Pine Prairie; three daughters, Linda Deville Hebert of Bayou Chicot, Patricia Deville Crosby and her husband, David, of Pine Prairie and Karen Deville Brode of West Monroe; one brother, John Christie of Surrey, England; one sister, Margeret Andrews of Billericay Essex, England; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 60 years, Isaac Deville; one son, David Deville; one daughter, Theresa Deville; her twin, sister Mary Beat; and her sister, Jill Field.
Father Richard Broussard officiated.
