Alice Faye McGee Reed

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Alice Faye McGee Reed, 63, of Mamou, at Richie House of Prayer Church in Eunice at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 26. Burial followed in the Reed Cemetery in L’anse Meg.
Mrs. Reed died Friday, January 24, 2014, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. She was a very wonderful person and everyone who knew her will miss her. She was employed at Mamou High School as a cafeteria employee. She was a member of the Richie House of Prayer Church.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Johnny Reed of Mamou; her mother, Pearl A. Vidrine of Mamou; three sons, Joey Reed and his wife, Naomi, of Eunice and Brandon Reed and his wife, Jessica, and Byron Reed, all of Mamou; one brother, Michael McGee of Kerrville, Texas; two sisters, Glenda Bacon of Pine Prairie and Sharona LeBouef of Duralde; and 10 grandchildren, Camry, Ansley, Myranda, Melania, Dylan, Kaleb, Keegan, Micah, Hayden and Lillian.
She was preceded in death by her father, Iray McGee; one son, Johnny Reed Jr.; and two brothers, Danny McGee and Gary McGee.
Rev. Joey Reed officiated.
