Accident Monday sends one to hospital

The driver of this car involved in a single-vehicle accident late during the morning of Monday, February 3, was taken by ambulance to a Lafayette hospital. There was no passenger in the car, which left the north side of East Main Street and struck a power pole, smashing the left side of the vehicle. Among the debris cleared were parts of the vehicle’s windows and parts of the transmission.
