Dupre named to Dandy Don’s Top 100

Around the state, the Dandy Don (dandydon.com) list of recruiting is a list that football players show up on. It’s used by college coaches and recruiters look at them and make notes for their upcoming football recruiting season.
The most recent version of the list featured a player from Ville Platte. Sacred Heart standout defensive lineman, Bevan Dupre (6,1” 305 pounds) was featured on the 2015 recruiting list.
“It’s an awesome feeling to being on the list and getting my name out there,” Dupre remarked. “I hope this helps the team, the school and the program. I love seeing the recognition for me and the school, but it’s a small school and usually the recognition goes to the larger schools.”
Dupre is open to playing at the next level and takes his ACT in April. He is the son of former SHHS standout Daniel Dupre (1993) and Heather Shipp.
