Retired priest
ALEXANDRIA – Services for retired priest and former member of the Louisiana Juvenile Justice and Detention Board the Rev. Joseph Montalbano will be Friday. He died at age 84.
he pastored churches in Alexandria, Colfax, Tallulah, Leesville, Bunkie and Moreauville and served as director of evangelization and Alexandria diocesan liaison for the Charismatic Renewal. Gov. Dave Treen appointed him to the state board.
Survivors include a sister.
Arrangements are by Kramer.

Former juror
SIMSBORO – Services for former Lincoln Parish Police Juror Harris “Ray” Canterbury will be Thursday. He died Feb. 10 at age 93.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, including the Battle of the Bulge. He owned a grocery and gasoline station and was a police juror for nine years.
Survivors include his wife Helen and two children.
Arrangements are by Kilpatrick, Ruston.
