VPHS destroys Livonia

Ville Platte High proved why they have the top rating in Class 3A when they destroyed the Livonia Lady Wildcats 75-42.
Livonia’s home crowd was stunned and awed as the Lady Bulldogs put up 41 points in the first half of the contest alone.
Deja McKinney went off all game long. She recorded 14 points in the opening period and hit a total of eight three-pointers in the game. She had a career high 33 points in the game and led the team overall.
Ville Platte held a 41-19 lead after the first period was over. In the second half, they did not let up, scoring another 34 points and holding LHS to just 21 points.
Breanna Pete and Tyreonna Doucet each ended the game with 10 points and Shalinda Thomas hit eight points.
The Lady Bulldogs have an excellent shot at hosting the first two rounds of the playoffs.
