Mr. Fontenot, Miss Myers plan May nuptials

The engagement of Miss Lauren Beth Myers to Mr. Charles Brett Fontenot, the son of Charles and Voncille Guillotte Fontenot of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Donnie and Susan Hoffpauir Myers of Estherwood.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Friday, May 2, 2014, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Estherwood.
Miss Myers is the granddaughter of the late Don L. “Jay” and Helen Sellers Myers and the late Rodney and Eileen Eagan Hoffpauir.
A 2003 graduate of Midland High School, she received degrees in business marketing and business management from McNeese State University in Lake Charles in 2007. She is currently employed with the Acadia Parish School Board.
Mr. Fontenot is the grandson of Eva Lou Fontenot of Ville Platte, the late Irving Ben Fontenot, Seraphin Joseph Guillotte of Ville Platte and the late Ethelyne Mabel Fontenot Guillotte.
A 2005 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, he is currently employed as a field specialist with Weatherford International.
