Mr. Brown, Miss Jones announce April ceremony

The engagement of Miss Angel Carnoski Jones to Mr. Jeremy Jamar Brown, the son of Peter Guillory and Trina Kennerson of Lake Charles, has been announced by her parents, Elton Jones Jr.and Mary Linda Thomas of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, April 19, 2014, during a 4 p.m. ceremony at Zion Travelers Baptist Church in Mamou.
Miss Jones is the granddaughter of Louanna Poullard, the late Horace Thomas Sr., Rev. Elton Jones Sr. and the late Pearl Jones.
She is a 2006 graduate of Ville Platte High School and 2010 graduate of Southern University.
Mr. Brown’s mother is the former Trina Brown of Lake Charles. He is the grandson of Mabron Esclovon Sr., the late Sheryl Brown, the late Peter Guillory Sr. and the late Margaret Guillory.
A 2007 graduate of Barbe High School, he is currently attending Northwest University and is employed with Federal Express.
