John “Winston” Saucier

OPELOUSAS - A memorial service will be held for John “Winston” Saucier, 65, of Opelousas, at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 26.
Mr. Saucier died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Opelousas General Health System. He was a big fan of baseball and basketball, and he coached little league baseball and basketball. An avid reader, he read every Stephen King book written. He loved music, especially the blues, and was a great dancer.
Survivors include four sons, Korey Saucier of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jamie Saucier of College Station, Texas, Ryan Saucier of Natick, Massachusetts, and Craig Saucier of Tucson, Arizona; one sister, Jackie Boyer of Sulphur; a very special friend, Jane McDonald, of Opelousas; one niece; and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Della Rose Fontenot Saucier; one brother, Terry Saucier; and one nephew, Shannon Saucier.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 26, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas from 8 a.m. until time of service.
