Mr. Freeman, Miss Wood to wed in September ceremony

The engagement of Miss Laura Alaine Wood to Mr. Randy Freeman Jr., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Freeman Sr. of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray Wood of Many.
The couple is planning a September ceremony.
Miss Wood is the granddaughter of Daisy Moore of Pleasant Hill, the late John Moore, Lois Jean Wood of Coushatta and the late Charles Wood.
A 2005 graduate of Many High School, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Northwestern State University in 2009
Mr. Freeman is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Guillory Jr., and Ruby Freeman, all of Ville Platte, and the late Raphael Freeman.
A 2006 graduate of Pine Prairie High School, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Northwestern State University in 2010.
