Fontenot earns slot on 2014 LHSCA West Roster

Sacred Heart graduate Wesley Fontenot was named to the Louisiana High School All-Star game recently. Fontenot, who had a stellar season for the Trojans, played multiple roles for the SHHS squad and was rewarded by being named to the West Roster.
Fontenot pitched, played right field and second base for SHHS. He put up strong numbers in his senior season. He hit .359 on the year with a slugging percentage of .417. In 103 trips to the plate, Fontenot struck out just 11 times and he hit four doubles.
The double header will take place tomorrow and Saturday in Denham Springs.
