Juanita Bertrand Guillory

EUNICE - It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the loss of our loved one. Juanita Bertrand Guillory passed away, on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was 76. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice at 2 p.m., with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Father Thomas Voorhies officiated. Juanita was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Juanita will be dearly missed by her husband of 59 years, Francis Roger Guillory of Eunice; brother, Gilbert Bertrand, her three sons, Darrell Guillory and wife, Patti of Lafayette, Farrell “Teeny” Guillory and wife, Pam of Eunice and Terrell “Tootie” Guillory of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren, Kristyn Fuselier and husband, Brian, Phillip Guillory and fiancé, Lacy Verrett, Jon Seth Guillory and Kasey Atchison, Jennifer Guillory, Jamie Guillory and fiancé David Jonathan Foreman, Alex Guillory, Seth Guillory and Noah Guillory; and two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Nick Fuselier.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Hoesa and Elta Bertrand. At t.he request of the family, visitation was held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, June 17th, from 11 a.m until 10 p.m., and again on Wednesday, June 18th, from 8 a.m. until time of service. Deacon Gary Gaudin recited a Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Eunice was in charge of arrangements.
