Yo-yo artist visits parish

Professional yo-yo performer, juggler and magician brought his act to children and parents at the various branch libraries this week and, shown here, to the Northside Civic Center on Tuesday, July 8. Noel has entertained audiences around the world. The Evangeline Parish Library is funding the Summer Reading Program performances with donations from the Friends of the Library, along with grants from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, the Acadiana Center for the Arts, CenturyLink and Cabot. The Friends also funded the distribution of yo-yos to participants of this year’s Summer Reading Program.
