last library entertainment for kids is largest
The last entertainment program for kids parish library’s Summer Reading Program was also the largest this year, attracting close to 200 children and adults to see the Bar None Petting Zoo from Church Point Tuesday afternoon, June 22, at the Northside Civic Center’s pavilion. The Bar None Petting Zoo also visited branch libraries in the parish in early June. The entertainment programs are sponsored by the Evangeline Parish Public Library and is supported by grants from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, and Recreation and Tourism; in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council, as administered by the Acadiana Center for the Arts. Support for the Summer Reading Program is also provided by the Friends of the Library, Cabot and CenturyLink.
