Ville Platte police search for fatal shooting suspect

Ville Platte police are searching for a man who they say is suspected of shooting a woman to death inside the K&T’s Meat Market and Grocery on Lincoln Road some time before noon Monday. The man being sought is a black male wearing a white T-shirt, camouflage pants and a red bandanna. Police also say the man rode away from the store on a blue Schwinn bicycle.
