GRAND PRAIRIE - Funeral services were held for Patricia Lanclos Fontenot, 58, of Plaisance, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Grand Prairie at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 29. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fontenot died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Ochsner’s Health System in New Orleans.
Survivors include her loving husband, Darrell C. Fontenot of Plaisance; one son, M. Kent Fontenot and his wife, Katherine W., of Cornelius, North Carolina; two daughters, Angele F. Broussard and her husband, Dedrick, of Opelousas and Stephanie F. Stanford and her husband, Alton, of Plaisance; two brothers, Earl Joseph Lanclos of Walker and Larry A. Lanclos of Opelousas; one sister, Theresa Colligan of Church Point; her mother-in-law, Ethel “Audrey” Fontenot of Ville Platte; and 13 grandchildren, Gabriel McBride, Savanna A. Fontenot, Kassidy Stanford, Lorien Standford, M. Brooks Fontenot, Emily Stanford, Abigail Stanford, Rileigh K. Fontenot, Julliette Stanford, Sophia Stanford, Avery A. Broussard, Addison Stanford and Alton Stanford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Angelle Q. Lanclos; and one brother, Ariel James Lanclos.
Father Clement officiated.
