Minister’s Corner: God is abundantly available

The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” What Paul was describing to the church was the ability of God to do great things for His people above and beyond what we might expect. Paul is saying that God is able to do what we ask or think. I don’t know about you, but there are a lot of things that I can think of asking God to do. Paul says that God is able to answer every request. But, Paul goes on to say that God is not limited by what we know to ask or think. He is able to do above all that you and I can ask or think. He is the great architect of life. He knows exactly what we need and how to supply it, even when we stumble in ignorance. All we need is faith in God that He has our best interest at heart. He is not going to lead us astray. He loves us too much for that, and that love He has demonstrated over and over again, culminating in the sacrifice of His own son for us.
