Minister’s Corner: God is eternally able

How many times have we placed our confidence in friends, knowing that they would never betray us, never speak ill about us, never try to hurt us, only to find that they, like us, suffer from the human condition. Mankind will let us down every time because the flesh is weak. But my friends, there is a God who is able to eternally sustain us in His love. Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Whenever we need Him, and wherever we need Him, He will always be there. He will not walk out on us when times get rough, and He will not leave us when we despitefully use Him. He has made us a precious promise tha he would never leave us, nor forsake us, according to Hebrews 13:5. We can place our complete trust in Him, for He is eternally able.
