MAMOU - A memorial service will be held for John Steve Manuel, 68, of Mamou, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 9.
Mr. Manuel died Tuesday, October 7, 2014.
Survivors include one son, Brandon Neal Manuel of Mamou; one sister, Shirley Manuel Fontenot of Conroe, Texas; two nieces, Amy Manuel Henry and Shelly Manuel, both of Pine Prairie; and two nephews, Todd Fontenot of Magnolia, Texas, and Gawain Fontenot of Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elson and Avie Manuel; his wife, Elaine Faye Pomier; one son, Joseph Manuel; one daughter, Isa Manuel; and one brother, Bobby Manuel.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou Thursday, October 09, from 10 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
Father Alphonse Thainese will officiate.
