Propane truck crashes on Whiteville Road

A truck went off the road near the intersection of Highway 29 and Cabot Road, north of Ville Platte, and overturned into a ditch just after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7. No injuries resulted from the single vehicle accident involving the truck, which was owned by Propane Industrial Gasses of Baton Rouge. Two fire trucks from Ville Platte responded and Louisiana State Police were called to the scene of the accident. A fire department report states the scene was cleared by 11 a.m.
