Ville Platte police search for storage unit thieves

On October 21, the Ville Platte Police Department responded to a report of a storage building break-in in the area of South Chataignier Road. Officers and detectives learned that multiple lockers were broken into and many items were taken. Owners are being contacted to inventory their belongings at this time. Video surveillance showed what appears to be three white males and two white females exit a silver Ford Sport Trac at approximately 2 p.m. on Monday, October 20.
