Mr. Blanchard, Miss Reed plan November nuptials

The engagement of Miss Lindsay Brooke Reed to Mr. Benjamin Daniel Blanchard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray J. Blanchard Jr. of Lake Charles, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Reed of Mamou.
The couple will exchange vows during a Catholic ceremony at St. Joseph Cathedral in downtown Baton Rouge on Friday, November 7, 2014.
Miss Reed is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Reed and Richard and Barbara Vizina, all of Mamou, and Donald and Denise Perron of Groves, Texas.
A graduate of Mamou High School and The Aveda Institute of Baton Rouge, she is currently employed as an executive stylist and educator with Rigsby Frederick Salon in Baton Rouge.
Mr. Blanchard is the grandson of Ray and Janice Blanchard of Lake Charles, the late Jim DeBernardi and Kate DeBernardi of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is a graduate of Barbe High School and attended LSU in Baton Rouge. He is the owner and president of Prestigious Painting in Baton Rouge.
