Blood donors to get Hunter Organge T-Shirts

Blood donors –For the hunter in you, Thanksgiving week is your opportunity to receive a special “hunter” orange, hunting-themed T-shirt to celebrate the hunting season. The T-shirt will be available on all drives and at the Lafayette Center (while supplies last) for the week of Thanksgiving.
During the season of giving, blood donors are needed. This holiday season give back by being a donor that saves 3 lives. Blood supplies are low during this time; make an impact on someone’s life that may be spending the holiday season in the hospital. Your donation could bring joy and happiness to their family, just in time for the holiday. Donate blood at the following location :
•Sunday, November 23, Wal-Mart in Ville Platte from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
To sign up for one of these upcoming drives, go to www.bloodhero.com. Donors can also go to www.unitedbloodservices.org the day of their donation and click on the “Health History Questionnaire,” make sure to print your “Fast track donation ticket” and bring it with you on the bus to save time, as well as lives. This allows donors to complete the interview portion of their donation on-line. Donors can also fill out their “Health History Questionnaire” from their phone or tablet while they wait (not compatible with all devices).
