Lena Mae Hudspeth Williams

Funeral services will be held for Lena Mae Hudspeth Williams, 90, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 1. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
A loving mother, sister and grandmother, Ms. Williams died Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include three sons, Samuel Hudspeth and his wife, Lill, of Highland, Michigan, Roy Hudspeth and his wife, Peggy, of Ville Platte and Dean Hudspeth and his wife, Celeste, of Lafayette; three daughters, Carolyn Landreneau and her husband, Buford, of Bayou Chicot, Emily Kahler of Plant City, Florida, and Elaine Hudspeth of Ville Platte; and one sister, Emily Joy Dupre of Rockwell, Texas. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Hudspeth; her second husband, Robert L. Williams; her parents, John and Emily Ortego; one son, James E. Hudspeth Jr.; one daughter, Ellen Hudspeth; seven brothers, Edward Ortego, Edgar Ortego, Lee Roy Ortego, Allen Ortego, Rodney Ortego, Sylvan Ortego and Howard Ortego; two sisters, Verna Hart and Eva Lou Kubiak; and one grandson, Brady Hudspeth.
Father Brian Harrington will officiate.
