Funeral services were held for Sherry Ann Chapman, 66, of Mamou, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Pine Prairie at 2 p.m., Monday, December 29. Burial followed in the Ortego Cemetery in Easton.
Mrs. Chapman died Saturday, December 27, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Sherman Chapman of Gray Point; one son, David Yves Chapman and his wife, Wendy, of Deatsville, Alabama; two daughters, Patricia Chapman of Reddell and Sandy Lee Duplechain and her husband, David, of Eunice; three brothers, Terry Berzas, Gerald Berzas and Kelly Berzas, all of Easton; two sisters, Susan Bogard and her husband, James, of Gray Point and Verna Contreras and her husband, Paul, of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfan and Lilly Berzas.
Father Richard Broussard officiated.
