Water boil advisory lifted for Point Blue Water users

UPDATE: This water boil advisory has now been lifted.

People on the Point Blue Water System -- between Ville Platte and Chataignier -- are being advised to bring water to a full boil several minutes, before using the water for drinking or cooking.
This advisory went into effect Sunday, January 18, due to low pressure in the distribution system, and will remain in effect until further notice. People who have questions can call (337) 353-5885.
